The Shelby 5225FDP Gloves are the most durable gloves made for structural firefighters. Constructed with heavy-weight brushed pigskin palms and with a koala tanned cowhide back that is fire retardant, heat resistant and cut/abrasion resistant. Featuring a non-cracking, one-piece liner/barrier system made from Gore RT7100 fabric that is permanently sewn to the glove shell and eliminates lining pullout after repeated uses. Additionally, a patent pending Shelby Glove Finger Attachment System relays the absolute best fingertip tactility by utilizing a unique adjacent layering technique without the customary attachment technology that typically impairs fingertip touch, feel and mobility. This glove features the Shelby "Black Line" color-changing Nomex wristlets that covers 4" of your wrist to prevent dirt from entering and alerts the wearer if the glove has been compromised. All seams are sealed with a DuPont silicone sealant. These gloves are NFPA compliant and SEI certified.
